COMBAT STRESS
delivers dedicated treatment and support to Ex-Service
men and women with conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
(PTSD), depression and anxiety disorders. Our services are free of

therapeutic treatment of PTSD amongst other severe stress related
conditions. We specialise in helping long term sufferers and those

group of people determined to help the forgotten ex service personnel

SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association)
help and
support those who serve in our Armed Forces and those who used to

BLESMA(British Limbless Ex Service Men's Association)
is the national
charity for limbless serving and ex service men and women and their
dependants and widows.It is the charity that directly supports all our
service men and women who lose limbs, the use of limbs or eyes or the

How Much Longer Can We Ignore It? The fact that

THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION
provides welfare to the whole Armed Forces
family - serving, ex-Service and their dependants. We also campaign on
a range of issues affecting Service people, are the custodian of
Remembrance, run the annual Poppy Appeal and are one of the UK's

AFGHAN HEROES
has been launched by a group of mothers with the aim of
helping our service personnel directly on the front line; the families
of those who have fallen and our returning service personnel who have
witnessed these horrific losses of their fellow comrades.It deals
specifically with members of the British forces and their families
that have been affected by the military operations in Afghanistan now
and into the future. The intention is to operate until a minimum of

NATIONAL GULF VETERANS AND FAMILIES ASSOCIATION After returning from
Gulf War 1 (90-91), service personnel developed illnesses and could
not understand why. Many told their stories in local and national
newspapers, and began to realise how wide-spread and common the

TROOP AID
was founded in November 2006 by three ex servicemen as a
result of a visit to Selly Oak Hospital's Alexandra Wing in
Birmingham. This is the home of the Defence Medical Welfare Services
who are responsible for the welfare of all Armed Forces Personnel,
male and female who have been injured during the conflict in

JJ'S MEMORIAL FUND
primarily raises money towards helping injured
Paratroopers and supporting the families of Paratroopers killed in
action. The fund also looks for suitable ways to remember JJ locally,
through appropriate memorials and promoting good citizenship within
